DEVICE FOR CHOPPING FOODSTUFFS

An invention relates to fish, meat and poultry processing industry and may be used in the field of public catering for production of foodstuffs by utilization of wilted products of animal origin as a raw material, for example, fish or other sea products, various type of meat fillets. Its goal is to elaborate a device ensuring obtaining chopped food product to be used without any further additional processing. The goal is reached in such a way that the device, which in the view from above without housing is depicted in fig.1, contains a body, a funnel for raw materials supply, an outlet funnel for the obtained chopped product, a chopping device, the last being made as two parallel-placed driving shafts (4, 5) and disc knives (6), which are located in chessboard fashion and provided with spacers (7) between them. The knives reciprocally co-operate being put in operation. In addition, the device is provided with floating impingement plates (8), number of which is not less than two and which are placed vertically between disc knives within their zone of operation. Ends of the impingement plates are inserted into longitudinal grooves of the raw material supply funnel and the obtained product's outlet funnel said grooves being formed by plates secured to the device body.
