It has been found that a flat textile article with a block copolymer A shows properties which with previous processes, e.g. using individual components or a mixture of these, prevented their application to fibers, whereas on application of the block copolymer A from a melt, solution or dispersion individual and especially new combinations of properties and effects could be obtained, e.g. improved gloss, surface touch, water rejection, which are retained after washing.
