METHOD OF FIRE EXTINGUISHING

摘要

FIELD: methods of fire extinguishing in rooms, at open spaces and in extinguishing of oil and gas well fires. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of voltage pulses at moment of container presence in fire zone from pulse generator to leads introduced into inside cavity of container whose plastic housing is filled with liquid fire-extinguishing substance. Under effect of electric discharge between generator leads, instantaneous local heating of liquid substance occurs with formation of vapor. This results in sharp building-up of internal pressure which breaks into parts container plastic housing, and liquid finely divided drops. EFFECT: higher safety and efficiency of fire extinguishing due to instantaneous formation of finely divided drops. 1 dwg
