A foam composition suitable for use as a combined bovine teat and udder dip is formed by air pressurization of an aqueous mixture containing a surfactant and bactericide, and expanding the mixture to atmospheric to produce an adherent foam which both protects and reduces infection of the teat, particularly at the teat canal and surrounding udder area.
