Water carbonator

A device for carbonating water contained in a bottle 1 from a pressurised cylinder 2 of carbon dioxide (CO2) includes an adjustable venturi nozzle 5,6 for dispensing gas below the surface of water in the bottle. A safety door in the form of a rotating semi-circular tube 10 prevents access to the bottle during carbonation. Coloured lights and an electronic sounder provide visual and audible indication of the degree of carbonation.
