摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the energy efficiency of a catalyst heater for heating an oxidative combustion catalyst in an exhaust gas deodorizing machine. <P>SOLUTION: The heat generation tubes 41 of the catalyst heater 40 are arranged on a surface parallel to the flat plate-like surface of the oxidative combustion catalyst 30 and a reflecting member 60 for reflecting radiant heat to the oxidative combustion catalyst 30 is provided on the side opposite to the side turned to the oxidative combustion catalyst 30 of the catalyst heater 40. The catalytic heater 40 and the reflecting member 60 are constituted so that the temperature of the flat plate-like surface of the oxidative combustion catalyst 30 becomes higher than the temperature of exhaust gas over the almost entire region of the flat plate-like surface and becomes a proper temperature range as oxidative combustion reaction. The reflecting member 60 is provided with a radiation surface part 64 formed into a shape reflecting radiant heat to the surface part opposed to the region between the heat generation tubes 41 of the catalyst heater in the flat plate-like surface of the oxidative combustion catalyst 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
