PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel sheet capable of solving uneven brightness which has not be solved by a conventional art in a Cr-Ni stainless steel cold- rolled sheet thinly cast by a continuous casting machine in which a mold wall is synchronously moved with a slab, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: In the Cr-Ni stainless steel sheet thinly and continuously cast by the synchronous mold, the standard deviation (σ) of in-plane dispersion of a Cr element on the surface of the sheet is 1.0% or less. In the manufacturing method for the Cr-Ni stainless steel sheet thinly and continuously cast by the synchronous mold, cold rolling is performed to the steel sheet after casting at >60% cold rolling reduction, or the cold rolling is performed to the steel sheet after casting and annealing at >60% the cold rolling reduction or the cold rolling is performed to the steel sheet after casting, applying pre- deformation to the surface thereof and annealing at >60% the cold rolling reduction. After thinly casting the steel sheet, hot rolling is performed thereto before each process, and after the hot rolling, annealing is performed thereto. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
