PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out reliable work even in operation at a low pressure without using other auxiliary appliance in the case of a remote control operation of a hammering apparatus. SOLUTION: The hammering apparatus comprises an air jetting pipe which communicates with a piston chamber and is installed in the center of the inside of an air supply chamber having an operation air port in the top part for driving a piston for a knocker by sending air to the piston chamber, a base part formed in the opening of the top part of the air jetting pipe for closing the opening of the air jetting pipe, and a suspension valve sheet having a flexible valve flange which has a diameter at least 1.5 times or more as wide as that of the base part and the outer circumferential rim touching the wall face of the inner circumference of the air supply chamber all the time and thus partitions the air supply chamber into a valve chamber and a pressure-storage chamber formed in the surrounding of the air jetting pipe. Accordingly, the structure can be simplified and particularly, since the movement of the suspension valve sheet is smooth, reliable operation with a low pressure from a remote site is made possible.
