PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of properly preventing illegal behavior. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a key detector, an engagement detector for detecting the engaged state of hooks 13 and 13 and engaging projecting pieces 12 and 12 with each other, and an opening and closing detector 22 for detecting the opening and closing state of a game machine main body 2. Furthermore, the game machine is provided with an illegal opening preventing means which disconnects the power source of the game machine 1 when the key detector does not detect key operation when the engagement detector and the opening and closing detector detect opening of the game machine main body 2. Thus, when the game machine main body 2 is opened illegally, continuing of a game by the game machine 1 is made to be impossible for properly preventing the illegal behavior. Even when a stuff of a game saloon finds the scene of the illegal behavior, he/she does no have to caution about it immediately and can perform operation for repairing, etc., the game machine 1 after confirming safety.
