PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition for electric/electronic fields, communication equipment, sanitary, automobile and miscellaneous goods having melt dripping properties that is excellent in transparency and laser generating properties. SOLUTION: The composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin that consists essentially of a rubber reinforced polymer (a) obtained by graft-polymerizing monomer components (such as styrene and acrylonitrile) including 50 wt.% or more of (meth)acrylate compounds (such as MMA) in the presence of a rubber polymer (such as polybutadiene), (B) 5-20 pts.wt. of a phosphate compound and/or a condensed phosphate compound, and (C) 0-5 pts.wt. of at least one selected from the group consisting of polyetheresteramide and polyetheramide containing 35-65 wt.% of ethylene oxide units and a hydrogenated product of an aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene block copolymer.
