PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating plate device for a salt bath, which has a high degree of effectiveness for inexpensively controlling deposition of the salt onto a strip of a stainless steel sheet. SOLUTION: The heating plate device for the salt bath is installed in an outlet side of the strip in the salt bath facility, which passes the strip of the stainless steel in a molten salt and pretreats the strip before a pickling step, and has a heating plate which covers the outlet side of the strip, though passes the strip, and heats the strip while using the molten salt in the salt bath facility as a heating medium. Then, the heating plate device can remarkably decrease a temperature fall of the strip, thereby carry out the strip upward with a small amount of salt coating while keeping the temperature of the strip, and reduce the running cost because of using the molten salt in the salt bath facility as the heating medium.
