PURPOSE: An ABS(anti-lock brake system) control method of driving and driven wheels for a vehicle is provided to improve braking force and the stability in suddenly braking by using the maximum frictional force of each wheel with securing the safety of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The compensation control condition of braking force is decided for compensating loss of braking force from the slip difference between driving and driven wheels. The slip rates of driving and driven wheels are compared in deciding the compensation control condition of braking force. Hydraulic pressure of a brake is controlled according to action of the large slip rate wheel, and controlled according to difference of hydraulic pressure applying to driving and driven wheels or action of the small slip rate wheel for compensating braking force. Braking force is increased in suddenly braking by using the maximum friction force of each wheel with controlling the ABS properly.
