PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heterocycle-containing compound, a curable composition comprising the compound and a resin material having a high refractive index and photo-setting and thermosetting properties. SOLUTION: The heterocycle-containing compound is represented by formula (1) [wherein, R1to R4denote each independently a 1-10C bivalent hydrocarbon group; X1to X4denote each independently 0 or S; Y1and Y2denote each independently 0 or S; (m), (n), (p) and (q) denote each independently an integer of 0-10; (r) denotes an integer of 0-10; and Z1and Z2denote each independently a bivalent aryl group which may have a substituent, except that (p), (q) and (r) are each 0, Y1and Y2are each 0 or S; and Z2is C6H4].
