<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for desulfurizing fuel for fuel cells by using oxidation reaction, promoting oxidation of sulfur compounds in the fuel and effectively desulfurizing. <P>SOLUTION: The method for desulfurizing a hydrocarbon containing organic sulfur compounds comprises treating the hydrocarbon with an oxidizing agent in a static mixer and removing the organic sulfur compounds by contacting to an adsorbent or by distillation or extraction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
