Nozzles (7) on the inside of a curved hood (12) above a screen (4) are used to dispense a liquid in order to generate a circulating flow of air which is directed through the screen. - Binding dust in order to form a flow of material in an industrial process comprises separating dust particles and fines from a bed of material (1) passed over a screen, wetting the particles with a liquid and returning them to the flow of material. A hood with a curved wall extends above the screen and liquid is dispensed from nozzles arranged inside the hood so that they generate a circulating flow of air beneath it, the flow of air being directed through the screen by the curved hood wall. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the binding apparatus. |
