The monobloc wheel (1) composed of a wheel web (2) and a cylindrical rim (3) comprising external (4) and internal (5) edges is obtained from a sheet metal blank. The blank is subjected to several shaping operations comprising a deep stamping operation to form a rough blank comprising a back and a cylindrical peripheral wall. A second hydro-forming operation of the blank shapes a part of the wheel web and the rim. A third operation of hydro spinning the blank wall shapes the rim interior edge. An Independent claim is included for a monobloc wheel.
