PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state laser material in which a size can be increased, and a cross sectional area of induced emission is suppressed and which has an excellent thermal impact characteristics, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same, and a laser generator by the solid state laser material.

SOLUTION: The solid state laser material contains a disordered polycrystal in which a powder material is crystallized in a polycrystalline state.
