PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control device of a refrigerator and its method which accurately controls the temperature of the refrigerator without requiring to arrange an outside air temperature sensing sensor and a damper by controlling operation of a compressor on the basis of a calculated operation rate of the compressor by calculating the operation rate of the compressor arranged in the refrigerator, and reduces a manufacturing cost of the refrigerator without arranging the outside air temperature sensing sensor and the damper in the refrigerator. SOLUTION: This method controls cold room temperatures and the refrigerating chamber of the refrigerator having the compressor 24 and a heating lamp 23, and is constituted so as to control the temperature of the refrigerator by successively performing steps of: calculating the operation rate of the compressor 24 arranged in the refrigerator; and controlling the operation of the compressor on the basis of the calculated operation rate of the compressor 24.
