PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bug repellent light source for an automatic vending machine, repelling insects even when a light is turned on at night. SOLUTION: RGBLED lamps 100a, 100b, 100c are disposed under a translucent sample 4 placed in the display space 32 of the automatic vending machine. Incandescent light with an emission spectrum wave length of 450 nm or more is emitted to illuminate the sample 4. Since this light spectrum wave length, although sensible to human beings, is out of insects' visual peak, 360 nm to 380 nm, it is unlikely that insects come near the automatic vending machine.
