PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilized disposable sheath which is used in such a way that a new sheath for each subject is put on a microminiature gamma counter and which is handled and manufactured easily. SOLUTION: The sheath for the microminiature gamma counter is inserted into a long bag (1) and a short bag (2) in such a way that bottoms of two kinds of long and short synthetic resin bags come into contact, a proper part on the outer side of the long bag in a part in which both bags are overlapped and a part on the inner side of the short bag corresponding to the proper part are fixed to each other by a face fastener (4), and a guide frame (5) for object insertion is housed inside the long bag so as to be freely detachable. In the sheath for the microminiature gamma counter and the method of manufacturing the sheath, the respective components are folded and sealed in a bag, and the whole is sterilized and treated.
