PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a color image excellent in the reproducibility of a color tone without necessitating the troublesome control of the characteristic of toner and without increasing the consumption of the toner. SOLUTION: Through-holes 11 or 12 whose hole diameter is made successively larger are formed by the same number of holes, or through-holes 11 or 12 having the same hole diameter are formed so that their formed number may be successively increased on respective electrifying rollers 202 in accordance with the arranging position of an image forming part 200 in a recording material carrying direction from an upstream side to a downstream side. From an upstream side to a downstream side in a transfer material carrying direction, the total sum of the cross sections of the through-holes 11 or 12 on each roller 202 gets successively large, the amount of deformation caused by the abutting of each roller 202 on a photoreceptor drum 201 is successively increased, nip width between each roller 202 and the drum 201 gets successively large, and the electrification potential of the drum 201 is successively raised, then the image transferred to transfer material from the drum 201 is successively changed from a high density side to a low density side.
