PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bicarbonate curing agent that mainly comprises a bicarbonate salt in a chemical liquid for stabilizing silicate-based soil, causes no coagulation even when it is stored for a long period, shows good solubility in water, exhibits a high strength of the formed cured product. SOLUTION: The bicarbonate curing agent is used in the chemical liquid for stabilizing silicate-based soil and comprises the following components (a), (b) and (c) and/or (d): the component (a), an alkali metal bicarbonate; the component (b), an alkali metal chloride; the component (c), at least one selected from the group consisting of naphthalenesulfonic acid compounds, ligninsulfonic acid compounds, oxypolycarboxylic acid compounds and melaminesulfonic acid compounds; and the component (d), an alkali metal carbonate.
