PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control device for a jet propulsion vessel capable of controlling an internal combustion engine such that a vessel operator can safely carry out avoiding of danger. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine control device is provided with a rotation speed detection means 24 for detecting a rotation speed of the engine 2; a throttle opening detection means 22 for detecting the throttle operation state by the vessel operator; a steering handle angle detection means 21 for detecting that the vessel operator carries out an operation for avoiding a danger; and a control means 300 for raising the rotation speed of the internal combustion engine when it is detected that the vessel operator carries out the operation for avoiding the danger based on the steering handle angle detection means 21 in the case where the throttle opening detected by the throttle opening detection means 22 is a predetermined value or lower and it is judged that a vessel body 1 is in the traveling state based on the rotation speed of the engine 2 detected by the rotation speed detection means 24.
