PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver by which a viewer can acquire desired information related to data displayed on the screen while viewing a program. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver includes: an image data storage means for storing received image data by an external instruction; a display means for displaying stored image data as part of the screen; a point-out means (a pointer operated by an operation section 105 or a light receiving section 106) for pointing out a position on the screen with respect to image data displayed as part of the screen; an attached information storage means for storing attached information at a point of time when the image data are stored; a position confirmation means for confirming a pointed-out position; and a position recognition means for recognizing the confirmed position. The image data storage means, the attached information storage means, the position confirmation means, and the position recognition means are configured by a control section 104.
