<p>The invention describes a method of presentation of primary genomic information of prokaryotes and eukaryotes in the form of digital codes. The information is acquired by restriction endonuclease digestion of whole DNA of an organism, separation of the oligonucleide fragments according to their lengths, and determination of unique hexadesimal numbers defining the presence or absence of each of the possible oligonucleotides. The invention can be exploited in quick and convenient identification and characterization of prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms.</p> |
