An input- and output-device for data processing can be mounted on a small area and can be easily transported without protective packaging material and consists of housing/protective elements and housed units and its housed units are permanently installed in three housing/protective elements (1-3) or can be temporarily housed with mechanical protection. The three housing elements (1-3) are movably interjoined via two mutually abutting edges, and by altering the position of these three units, the range of use of the housed units can be varied, and the separately housed units, in particular the input appliances (4,5), can be released from the housing elements (3) for further use.
