PAPER FEEDING DEVICE FOR PRINTER

PURPOSE: A paper feeding device used in a printer is provided to feed paper with proper feeding force by reducing overload of papers when a great amount of papers are stacked in a paper feeding section. CONSTITUTION: A paper feeding device includes a paper feeding section(110) for guiding a paper into a printer body. A housing(116) is formed at an upper portion of the paper feeding section(110). A pickup roller is installed under the paper feeding section(110) in order to convey a lowest part of the paper into the printer body. A shaft(119) is hinged to the housing(116). A pressing plate(120) is rotatably installed about the shaft(119) in such a manner that the pressing plate(120) makes contact with an uppermost paper stacked in the paper feeding section(110). A press spring is installed at an upper portion of the pressing plate(120). A protrusion(120a) is formed at an upper surface of the pressing plate(120).
