<p>The invention relates to a device for the removal of dangerous or high-energy material comprising a pressure-resistant external housing (2), wherein material, whose end products are non-dangerous, can be reacted in controlled conditions. A fluidised bed, which can move from top to bottom, can be displaced inside the external housing (2). Said fluidised bed is formed in a state of dynamic equilibrium between a) a bulk material feed and the material which is to be removed and b) the discharge of a mixture of products originating from the bulk material and the reaction. At least one chicane (6) is arranged inside the fluidised bed, surrounding a central area wherein the fluidised bed can be essentially axially displaced, without impediment, to the bottom and in an annular area surrounding the central area delaying the axial displacement of the fluidised bed. As a result the quantities of the bulk material in circulation are reduced, having an advantageous effect on the overall energy resources of said device. Said chicane (6) protects the wall of the external housing (2) and enables a sensor (8)to be installed, said sensor measuring the physical conditions in the reaction area, on a surface which is not orientated towards the central area where the reactions occur and optionally, supply pipes for auxiliary substances, for example hot or cold gas or chemicals.</p> |
