PURPOSE: A method of preparing laver rolls(kimpap) using a plum(Mume Fructus) by mixing the plum with conventional cooked rice for laver rolls and then wrapping it in a laver sheet is provided. Therefore, the method inhibits the growth of putrefactive bacteria in laver rolls and prolongs the shelf life thereof. CONSTITUTION: Cooked rice(10) is mixed with fruit meat(20) of a plum with a size of 2 to 5 mm in a ratio of 1:0.05 to 0.20, a stuffing material(40) is mixed with plum juice(50). Then, the cooked rice and stuffing material are wrapped in a dried laver sheet(30). The fruit meat of the plum is obtained by mixing plum meat with sugar in a ratio of 1:1 and then aging for 20 to 60 days. The stuffing material is animal meat from a chicken, a pig, a cow or the like, fish such as tuna fish and vegetables such spinach.
