PURPOSE: A printing device and a printing method are provided to reduce a printing defect by improving structure of a printing roller and a sheet feeding roller. CONSTITUTION: A printing device includes a sheet feeding section(100), a conveying section(200), a printing section(300), a cutting section(500) and a control section(400). The sheet feeding section(100) has a sheet feeding roller(110) for conveying sheets(10) and a front stopper(120) for aligning the sheets(10). The conveying section(200) has a conveying roller(210) for conveying the sheets(10) transferred from the sheet feeding section(100), and a detecting sensor(212) for detecting the sheets(10). The printing section has a printing roller(330) including a printing roller(330) and an auxiliary roller(340) adjacent to the printing roller(330). The cutting section has a bending roller(510) and a cutting roller. The control section(400) controls the conveying roller(210) in such a manner that the conveying roller(210) is rotated in forward or reverse direction.
