PURPOSE: An intake apparatus is provided to achieve a high engine output by permitting a large amount of air to flow into the engine through the use of the air of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An intake apparatus comprises a plurality of air ducts(20,30,40,50) each of which has an end connected to an intake port of a cylinder of an engine and the other end exposed toward the front portion of the vehicle through an external air inlet hole(92) formed at a bonnet of the engine; and throttle bodies(25,35,45,55) mounted on the front ends of the air ducts and open toward the front in such a manner that the throttle bodies receive the air of the vehicle. The throttle bodies are mounted with shutters(26,36,46,56) which rotate in such a manner that the shutters adjust air flow by being interlocked with the operation of the accelerator.
