SKIN-WHITENING COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING LACTATE AND KOJIC ACID

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing as an effective ingredient lactate and kojic acid in a specified ratio is provided. Therefore, The composition has very low dermal irritation properties and shows synergistic skin-whitening effect while having improved skin stability. CONSTITUTION: The skin-whitening cosmetic composition comprises: 1 to 20% by weight of 60%(w/w) of lactate such as sodium lactate; 0.001 to 10% by weight of kojic acid; and conventional components such as an antioxidant, a stabilizer, a solubilizing agent, vitamins, a pigment, a fragrance material and a carrier. The composition may be formulated as solutions, suspensions, emulsions, pastes, gels, creams, lotions, powders, soaps, surfactant-containing cleansing compositions, oils, powder foundations, emulsion foundations, wax foundations and sprays.
