<p>A fluorescent image measuring method and device in which auto-focusing (AF) is carried out according to image information obtained through imaging means. A sample used as a measurement specimen is irradiated with light for auto-focusing in a fluorescent image measurement wavelength band, and the focused state is judged from the image information obtained by the irradiation. According to the focused state, at least one of a light-receiving optical system and the sample is driven, the focus position is searched for, the irradiation of the auto-focusing light is stopped after the focus position is reached, the sample is irradiated with excitation light, and a fluorescent image formed by the light emitted from the specimen is measured. Thus AF can be carried out according to image information by means of a simple structure having a small number of constituent elements without causing extinction for even a sample of low fluorescence intensity.</p> |
