The method involves forming a moulded body of transparent, malleable material in an injection mould (1) with an opening for the insertion of an electrooptical transducer bearer and a coupling region for a coupled device. A closure device (4) is applied to the coupling region (3), the material is fed into the mould, the bearer is inserted through the opening and aligned wrt. the mould with at least one positioning device, the material is set and the closure device is removed. An Independent claim is also included for a mould for manufacturing an electrooptical component. |
