A steering unit (4) for vehicles has a hydraulic actuator (5) which can be connected to the wheels (2) of a vehicle (1), in order to steer the wheels (2) themselves, a hydraulic circuit (24) which can be associated with a steering wheel (3) of the vehicle (1), in order to supply an operative fluid to the hydraulic actuator (5) during rotation of the steering wheel (3), and an interception device (35) which can be switched between an operative position of interception, in which it substantially prevents the flow of the operative fluid from and to the hydraulic actuator (5), maintaining the hydraulic actuator itself in a fixed locking position, and a rest position, in which it permits free circulation of fluid from and to the hydraulic actuator (5). <IMAGE> |
