发明名称 Improvements relating to carburettors for internal combustion engines
摘要 422,341. Fittings for induction pipes. COOK, H. F., Tredington, The Highway, Sutton, Surrey. March 31, 1933, No. 9725. [Class 7 (ii)] Consists in means for collecting unvaporized fuel from the induction pipe and returning such fuel to the pipe in the form of a gaseous mixture. Petrol collecting in the induction pipe 1 flows through an outlet or outlets 3 at the lowest point or points of the said pipe and through a pipe 5 to a closed vessel 6 placed near the engine to receive heat therefrom. A second pipe 8, of smaller bore than pipe 5, enters the vessel 6, the lower coiled and perforated end 9 of the pipe being situated near the bottom of the vessel and below the level of petrol therein. The outer open end of the pipe lies near the exhaust pipe. A drain cock 7 is provided above the level of the coil 9. Valves 10, 11 are fitted to the pipes 8, 5. The pipe 5 serves not only to drain the unvaporized petrol but also to conduct the re-evaporated petrol to the induction pipe.
