A dielectric resonator device (10) includes a dielectric plate (1). An electrode (2) is provided an each of both principal surfaces of the dielectric plate (1) and a plurality of pairs of mutually-opposing electrode openings (4a,4b) are formed in the electrodes (2). Accordingly, the dielectric resonator device (10) functions as a three-stage resonator. Strip lines (22,23) serving as input/output probes are provided on the upper surface of an input/output substrate (20). Also, a ground electrode (24) having electrode openings (21a,21b) are formed thereon. By providing the dielectric resonator device (10) and an upper substrate (40) an the upper surface of the input/output substrate (20), a dielectric filter is formed.
