The positioning device has at least one bearer (15) for attachment to a cable loom (13) with at least one holder (17) with which a connection point (19) made between several cables in the cable loom can be fixed in a predefined position on the bearer. The bearer can be clamped to the cable loom and is in the form of a slider that can be fitted onto the cable loom. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a cable loom with an inventive device and a method of sealing connection points between lines in a cable loom, especially in motor vehicles.
