<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a translucent pane structure with an electrochromic element, which is simplified compared with a known method. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for producing a transparent pane structure, particularly, a transparent cover for motor vehicle roofs in which a multilayer electrochromic element for influencing the transparency of the pane structure is under an outside pane, the inside of the outside pane 2 is coated with a complete, functional electrochromic package.
