PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer vessel which is designed to simply house a bag- formed flexible container with a liquefied substance put therein, holding the contents so that it can be poured out and storing safely. SOLUTION: The outer vessel 1 which is designed to safely house the bag- formed flexible container 14 with the liquefied content put therein and hold so that the contents can be poured out comprises a container body 4 whose barrel is divided into two so that they can be opened/closed. The container body is formed by forming on a top wall 6 of a hollow container formed in a box shape suitable for housing the flexible container in a self-supporting manner, an aperture 2 for allowing the contents in the flexible container to be poured out, and a slit 3 having an unsealable upper end portion 14a of the flexible container protruding to hold both sides for keeping it in the self-supporting manner. In addition, the container body constitutes the outer vessel 1 which is formed by fitting and joining half container bodies 4A and 4B formed by dividing the barrel into two right and left units along an axial direction so that they can be opened/closed.
