PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treadboard instruction sign belt for improving the workability by preventing generation of stress cracking caused by screw tightening and generation of cracking caused by adhesion of oil, acid, alkali, a solvent, etc., and preventing deterioration of the attractiveness of the design of a passenger conveyor. SOLUTION: The instruction sign belt 10, mounted at an end of a treadboard, constitutes a part of a plurality of treadboards 7 of the passenger conveyor for designating the border between steps, and has a screw tightening part to be connected with the base of the treadboard. A collar 12 with a prescribed strength is inserted into the screw tightening part, and the stress generated by the screw tightening is received by the collar 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
