PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck device preventing the loosening of a fastened state. SOLUTION: In the chuck device, a plurality of clams 3 inserted in holes 2a formed in the tip of a body 2 are slidably expanded and contracted by turning a turning cylinder 1, and a tool 4 is held by the pawls 3. It is characterized in that a hard coating with a minimal coefficient of friction is applied on the inner face of the hole 2a. It is also characterized in that the body 2 is formed by a lightweight member.
