PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission auxiliary means for bicycles of small parts number which can be manufactured at a low cost without the need for rotatably assembling a cam part with a casing. SOLUTION: A first end side of a transmission working unit 4 is connected to a front transmission provided on a bicycle in an interlocking manner. A second end side of the transmission working unit 4 is pivotably supported by the casing 3. The transmission working unit 4 has a sliding piece 42 which is slidable in the axial direction of a crank shaft 202. A control unit 5 has an operation unit 53 on the first end side, the second end side is pivotably supported by the casing 3, and the sliding piece 42 is moved in an abutting position on a cam surface by the operation unit 53 by rotating the control unit 5 around the second end side. When the cam part 2 is rotated, the sliding piece 42 at the cam surface abutting position is abutted on the cam surface 22, and the transmission working unit 4 follows the cam surface 22 to perform the transmission of the front transmission.
