PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upholstering structure for chair allowing easily, surely and quickly mounting of a cushion body consisting of a cushion material and a facing material on the shell of a chair to be attachable and detachable. SOLUTION: Two or more through-holes 6 are provided in the shell 3 for supporting the cushion body 4 of the chair, and a shaft part 7 both ends of which are integrated with the shell 3 is provided in the center of each through- hole 6. An engagement receiving part 13 engageable to and disengageable from the shaft part 7 is protrusively provided on a support plate 12 provided on the reverse side of the cushion body 4.
