PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for an outer blade for an electric razor having a strength good enough for to long time use. SOLUTION: In the coated outer blade for the electric razor, by applying thicker coating 2 of resin or the like to a boundary portion 5 between a mesh blade 3 and an edge 4 easy to break and applying extremely thin coating 1 to the entire mesh blade 3 as well, the strength of the entire outer blade is improved such that the structure having durability can be provided.
