PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate or absorb abnormal sound or vibration even if there is a stepped part in the seam of a sanding belt by providing a space between a sanding belt contact end of a steel plate and a support member. SOLUTION: A steel plate 13 is mounted to a support member for a housing by a screw 12, while the head of the screw 12 is bent so that it does not touch a sanding belt 10 and a curved part 13a having a large round shape at the bent part. A cork plate 14 mounted between the plate 13 and a support member is bonded to a flat surface portion of the plate 13. The cork plate 14 is eliminated when the plate 13 is fixed to the support member from the curved part 13a by the screw 12 to form a space 13b, by which an elastic characteristic is given to the plate 13. The sanding belt 10 is rotated in the arrow direction when driven by a motor, and at that time a seam abuts on the curved surface part 13a. However, since the part 13a has the elastic characteristic, the abnormal sound generated at the seam, and vibration can be absorbed or alleviated. |
