PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current supply circuit with reduced weight of an air bag system. SOLUTION: The current supply circuit for supplying a current required for operating an electric ignitor arranged in a gas generator during operating the air bag gas generator comprises a switch circuit for opening/closing a current passage leading to the ignitor to be operated and a pulse generator for sending a control pulse to open/close the switch circuit. The current supply circuit has a switch circuit laid between the current passage and an external power supply. The switch circuit is used for supplying the current from the external power supply, as an ignition pulse for operating the ignitor, while controlling the current so that the width of the ignition pulse is 20-500μsec.
