PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent for cultivated laver capable of exterminating diseases such as Pythium sp., white rot injuries or Olpidiposis sp. or miscellaneous algae such as diatoms in the cultured laver without adversely affecting the surrounding environment or laver leaf bodies even at a high pH value of the treating liquid, a treating liquid for the cultured laver, and a method for treating the cultured laver. SOLUTION: The treating agent comprises 27-52 wt.% of lactic acid and <9 wt.% of acetic acid as active ingredients. The treating liquid comprises 0.27-0.52 wt.% of the lactic acid and <0.09 wt.% of the acetic acid as the active ingredients. The method for treating the cultured laver comprises bringing the laver or a culturing tool such as a laver net to which the laver sticks into contact with the treating liquid for a required time.
