PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film having an excellent surface state by casting a solution in which a cellulose acylate is dissolved in a stable state in an organic solvent. SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film is prepared by a step comprising a casting step of casting a cellulose acylate solution containing a cellulose acylate whose degree of substitution on the hydroxyl groups of a cellulose meets all formulae (I) to (III): (I) 2.6≤SA+SB≤3.0, (II) 2.0≤SA≤3.0, and (III) 0≤SB≤0.8 (wherein SA is a degree of substitution of an acetyl group; and SB is a degree of substitution of a 3-22C acyl group), at least one calixarene derivative, and an organic solvent and having a total amount of the calixarene derivative of 0.05-10 wt.% and a concentration of the cellulose acylate of 5-40 wt.% based on the solution.
