PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic applicator having moderate stiffness where dispersion in diameter sizes in a tip of a fiber part forming a tip of a brush is small, operation of a cosmetic is easy, time required for makeup is short, and sufficient satisfaction in makeup can be provided. SOLUTION: The cosmetic applicator and its manufacturing method are characterized by that the cosmetic applicator has the tip of the brush formed by aligning and arranging each cut end part of a multiplicity of tip removed fibers provided with the cut end parts formed by cutting and removing tips of tapered fibers.
